Wildlife Gardening Club âMoss Safariâ
Free
Join PLANT CIC for their Wildlife Gardening Club. This week weâll be exploring the magical world of mosses with researcher, artist and lecturer Antony Hall. From creating soil to retaining water, mosses play a vital role in reclaiming space for life to thrive.
Weâll be investigating these micro-habitats out in the garden, looking at the ecosystems they support - from invertebrates like woodlice, slugs and beetles to pollinators and nesting birds - and how these spongy, hairy organisms provide food, shelter and building materials for a huge range of species.
