Hanover

Hanover, 130 Corporation Street, Manchester, M4 4GW

In the heart of the NOMA historic estate, Hanover stirkes a majestic figure. Home to Amazon, Material Source and Skof, the refurbishment of this former drapery warehouse has protected its industrial past whilst creating a future as an inspiring place to work.

Hanover map

Built in two-halves, the drapery warehouse in 1904 and the office extension in 1909, Hanover is a stand-out example of Edwardian Baroque architecture. The 3rd floor still retains art deco features from a 1930’s refurbishment by the Co-op, including the reveal of an original fireplace and snooker cue rack from the table that was once played there.

It has now been sensitively refurbished with contemporary features, like an ETF roof to make the original delivery bay become a usable indoor space, helping to ensure a future for the building as a characterful office space.
