Wildlife Gardening Sessions
Throughout the spring and summer seasons, PLANT Co-operative host monthly evening gardening sessions in partnership with Lancashire Wildlife Trust and the Greater Manchester Combined Authority Environment Team. These sessions invite people to get hands on with nature at NOMA. Whether that’s planting in our specialist moth garden and joining monthly BioBlitzes with the Lancashire Wildlife Trust or exploring the sights and sounds of the city with guided bat walks.
Each session is a chance to learn how to create and improve habitats for wildlife right here in the heart of the city, while making a meaningful contribution to biodiversity and green spaces. Together, we’re supporting urban wildlife, boosting air, water and soil quality, and creating safe, accessible spaces for people and nature to thrive. It’s a unique way to connect with your community, learn new skills, and help build a healthier, wilder city for all.
