School Partnerships Through Gardening
We are honoured to work with a number of local schools around Manchester through our gardening collective, PLANT Co-operative. These hands-on workshops are designed to connect children with nature, spark curiosity, and nurture environmental awareness from an early age.
Sessions take place either within school grounds or at the vibrant NOMA gardens, offering flexibility and a variety of learning environments. Each workshop introduces children to seasonal gardening activities. These include planting summer bulbs, exploring sowing techniques, or discovering the magic of composting through engaging wormery sessions.
These fun and educational experiences not only brighten up school or community gardens but also help young people build a lasting connection with the natural world.
Through these partnerships, we’re not just planting seeds in the soil, we’re helping grow a generation that values and protects nature.
