This week, we're thrilled to welcome Orchardist and founder of Northern Lily CIC, Victoria Holden, for an inspiring deep dive into the fascinating world of fruit trees.

Did you know that fruit trees were first domesticated over 4,500 years ago? Here in the UK, we’ve shared a long and rich history with them, not just for their fruit, but for the wildlife they support. Fruit trees are often teeming with life, forming complex food webs that sustain birds, bats, mice, hedgehogs, and more.

Victoria will guide us through the essentials, from planting and soil health, to feeding, summer pruning and underplanting. You’ll leave with the knowledge to create your own thriving, productive mini orchard no matter the size of your garden.
