ADANOLA, the super-fast growing athleisure brand, has increased its presence at NOMA, less than a year after joining Manchester’s growing neighbourhood.
The Manchester company, one of the most popular gym-wear brands with millennial customers, and worn by the likes of Kim Kardashian, Kaia Gerber and British model and actor Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has taken an additional 6,500 sq foot at Dantzic, the Grade II listed building in the heart of NOMA.
Adanola, which has seen its revenues rocket by more than 136% in the last year and 2528% since FY21 is on track for further strong growth in 2024, earning it a Top 10 place in the Sunday Times 100 list of fast -expanding private companies in the UK. It has grown its team from more than 50 to 90 in the last few months following its relocation to NOMA in autumn 2023.
Founder Hyrum Cook said: “We are thrilled to be growing here at NOMA, the move was a result of a major new chapter in the evolution of our business and we needed to create a space that embodied the innovative spirit of Adanola. We’ve felt right at home ever since we moved in –– it’s a perfect location for our people to thrive.”
Paul Pavia, Commercial Director of MEPC, asset manager of NOMA said: “Adanola is an outstanding Manchester business and superb addition to our growing neighbourhood of innovators and bold thinkers. We are delighted to see them expanding their footprint at Dantzic.
“They’ve really bought in to our values and our community and we look forward to seeing them continue to flourish.
“Adanola’s growth here, alongside Allpress Coffee and most recently the opening of Tom Barnes’ destination restaurant Skof, is testament to our long-term investment strategy for NOMA, where there is such a compelling blend of the old and the new, a buzzing events programme and of course brilliant digital and transport connectivity.”
James Devany, Director, National Office Agency at letting agents JLL added: “NOMA has become the destination of choice for some of the most progressive and exciting businesses and brands such as Adanola.
“Their growth is brilliant to see and is reflective of the significant investment into the NOMA area, which includes the provision of 6,600sq ft of flexible fitted and furbished workspace in Dantzic, plus Altogether Otherwise – an inclusive creative space, where people can connect, learn new skills, share ideas, join a club or simply escape the everyday pressures of modern life.”
Scott Shufflebottom, Director, Sixteen Real Estate who advised Adanola added; “The almost immediate move to expand its workspace at Dantzic is testament to Adanola’s continued success and growth trajectory. It is always rewarding to work with forward-thinking clients, assisting with their real estate strategies and consequently ensuring they can focus on the day job.”
